During his active seafaring experience on search and rescue (SAR) and commercial vessels he gathered experience on search and rescue operations, ship operation as well as on port safety and shipping logistics.
When he finished his active seafaring career he joined an offshore company in Limassol / Cyprus. His main field of activity was the crew management (crewing) for german shipping companies.
